Common to Image Converter Ver. 1.2, Wide, and Color


Q:
I want to input characters smaller than 10 point...?
A:
The font size cannot be set smaller than 10 point on Image Converter in order to ensure character legibility.
Q:
The added texts cannot be removed...?
A:
The texts cannot be removed after saving the image. You can remove them with Undo button only before saving.
Q:
A movie is made though I want to make a picture...?
A:
Set Imported frame count to "1" when making a picture.
Q:
The imported avi file is inverted...?
A:
Some avi files cannot be read properly. (The avi file may be read properly by installing the video codec compatible with the file.)
Q:
The avi file cannot be read...?
A:
Some avi files cannot be read properly. (The avi file may be read properly by installing the video codec compatible with the file.)
Q:
I want to make a movie file which has the same sequence as the original avi file...?
A:
Select Scroll A->B on Creation mode and resize the selection area as you like before making a movie.
Q:
The imported avi file is not played back at the original speed...?
A:
With a long-time avi file, playback looks fast-forwarded. A short-time avi file may be played back in slow motion.
Q:
The imported avi file is not played back smoothly...?
A:
A long time avi file may have been imported. This is not a malfunction.
Q:
The outline of the input text is not legible...?
A:
Some characters may not be legible when displayed on Image Converter or on your JVC Car Audio.
Q:
The image on the preview screen is fixed when making a movie from a picture with Link start/end frame checked...?
A:
The start frame and end frame become the same when Link start/end frame is checked. It is recommended that you use the function when editing two or more movies.
Q:
The whole preview screen becomes black when making a movie from an avi file...?
A:
Some avi files cannot be read properly. (The avi file may be read properly by installing the video codec compatible with the file.)
Q:
The Operation guide is not printed out properly...?
A:
The Operation guide can be printed out properly with Internet Explorer 6 or later.
Check the version of Internet Explorer on your PC.
Q:
The message "Class not registered" appears and Image Converter does not start...?
A:
Remove Image Converter from "Add/Remove Programs" and install Image Converter again.

Q:
The colors change into that of the last imported file when importing two or more files I made before...?
A:
This is normal. You can assign only one color setting to a file you make even if the sources you use have colors of their own.
Q:
No picture is shown on the preview screen after cutting out or editing an image...?
A:
The preview may not be shown properly when the source image is solid in color.

Q:
It takes a long time to import a movie or picture into JVC Car Audio...?
A:
The import time depends on the frame number of the file you made. It takes about 10 minutes to import a file with 90 frames.
Q:
The message "File Load Error" appears and no source images are imported when importing several files at a time...?
A:
Some kinds of files may cause "File Load Error" when importing several files at a time. Try to import one file at a time in this case.

Q:

A:
The import time depends on the frame number of the file you made. It takes about 5 minutes to import a file with 90 frames.
Q:
Image Converter Wide cannot be installed...?
A:
Image Converter Wide may not be installed if another version of Image Converter has already been installed. In this case, remove the other version and install Image Converter Wide, then install the other version again if needed.
